Retraction of a research publication

On January 22, 2018, Kyoto University announced that the following paper published in Stem Cell Reports had fraudulent and fabricated data.

Publication

The university found that the first and corresponding author of the paper, a specially-appointed assistant professor at CiRA, conducted the research misconduct.

As a result, the authors requested the journal to retract the paper.
On February 13, 2018, the paper was officially retracted.
