The Breakthrough Prize in Life Sciences Foundation announced that Professor Shinya Yamanaka, director of CiRA, has received the Breakthrough Prize in Life Sciences for the discovery of induced pluripotent stem cells. Other 10 researchers have also won the prize for their remarkable scientific achievements.
