CiRA starts distribution of Glis1 plasmid vectors

Addgene, a nonprofit organization has started distribution of retroviral plasmid vectors with Glis1 deposited by Dr. Shinya Yamanaka.

The research team led by Dr. Momoko Maekawa and Shinya Yamanaka reported on Nature published on June 9th that transcription factor Glis1 significantly enhances the generation of iPSCs from both mouse and human fibroblasts when it is expressed together with OSK(Oct3/4,Sox2 and Klf4).
