CiRA starts distribution of plasmid vectors with mouse Glis1

Addgene, a Massachusetts-based nonprofit organization has started distribution of retroviral plasmid vectors with mouse Glis1 deposited by Dr. Shinya Yamanaka.

The research team led by Drs. Momoko Maekawa and Shinya Yamanaka reported on Nature published on June 9th 2011 that transcription factor Glis1 significantly enhances the generation of iPSCs from both mouse and human fibroblasts when it is expressed together with OSK(Oct3/4,Sox2 and Klf4).

The plasmid vectors with human Glis1 have been already distributed through Addgene.

The links to the Addgene website to request the plasmids are available on the Material Distribution page of the CiRA website.
