CiRA starts distribution of disease-specific iPS cells

CiRA has started to provide the following disease-specific iPS cells through RIKEN BioResource center (RIKEN BRC).

Three (3) lines of CINCA (chronic infantile neurological cutaneous and articular) syndrome patient-derived iPS cells
Five (5) lines of ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) patient-derived iPS cells

These cell lines are available for non-profit organizations for the purpose of academic research. Some of them, however, are available for profit-making organizations under some conditions.

The total of eight cell lines is provided through RIKEN BRC at present. When new lines of disease-specific iPS cells become available, it will be notified on the CiRA website;
 for non-profit organizations / for for-profit organizations
