In early 2026, the Keystone Symposia will host the conference "20 Years of iPSCs: Past, Present, and Future" at the Kyoto International Conference Center, commemorating two decades of transformative research in iPS cells. The event is partly sponsored by CiRA and will be held on January 26-29, 2026.
The scientific organizers of the conference are:
-
Dr. Shinya Yamanaka - Director Emeritus and Professor, CiRA, Kyoto University;
Senior Investigator, Gladstone Institutes -
Dr. Yanhong Shi - Professor, Beckman Research Institute, City of Hope
-
Dr. Yasushi Kajii - Head of R&D Japan Region, Takeda Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.
This meeting will celebrate the remarkable advances in iPS cell research and explore the innovations still to come. It will reflect on lessons learned and identify challenges and opportunities for advancing regenerative medicine and related fields.
Highlighted Sessions Include:
-
3D Modeling using Organoids and Organs-on-a-Chip
-
