CiRA starts distribution of episomal plasmids
The nonprofit organization Addgene has started distribution of episomal plasmids deposited by Dr. Shinya Yamanaka.
The research team led by Dr. Keisuke Okita and Shinya Yamanaka reported on Nature Method published online on April 4th that genome integration-free iPS cells can be generated using episomal plasmid vectors to convey 6 reprogramming factors.
