Guidelines for human-animal embryo research in Japan

The Japanese government recently announced major relaxation in its regulation of human-animal chimeric embryo (HACE) research. Professor Misao Fujita and her bioethics team at the Uehiro Research Division for iPS Cell Ethics discuss the implications of the new guidelines in a letter to Cell Stem Cell.
